Schengen visa photo
Serbia is not in the Schengen area, so foreigners living here apply for a Schengen visa in Belgrade, at the embassy or the visa centre of the country they are going to. The embassies set the photo rules:
- Germany: two biometric passport photos, not older than six months and not printed at home. Applications are accepted only at the VisaMetric visa centre, Makedonska 30.
- Austria: a passport photo to ICAO criteria, in colour, 35 × 45 mm.
- Slovenia: a recent photo to ICAO standards; for a long-stay D visa, 35 × 45 mm.
How many photos you need, and whether the centre also photographs you, depends on the country, so check the list from your embassy or visa centre (VisaMetric, VFS Global, TLScontact) and bring your photos with you. Who can apply in Belgrade and what else you need is in our Schengen visa from Serbia guide.
Canada visitor visa photo
Most visitor visa applicants give biometrics, fingerprints and a photo, at a visa application centre. If you give biometrics, you don't need to add paper photos to your application.
If you are not required to give biometrics, you need two identical photos: at least 35 × 45 mm, head 31–36 mm from chin to crown, on a plain white or light background, taken within the last six months.
UK visa
You apply online, then attend an appointment at a visa application centre, where your fingerprints and photo (biometric information) are taken.
Other countries
For Thailand, Egypt and other countries we print the sizes listed in our document photo size table. Rules change, so bring the list of requirements from the embassy or visa centre, and we make the photo to it.
