Canvas printing

Every canvas print we make starts from your photo. We print on a Fuji Acuity 1600 II UV printer, which gives very faithful colours. In some respects a canvas print looks better and more original than a classic photo, but a lot depends on the quality of the picture you bring.

• We can increase the resolution of your picture up to 10 times.
• We improve the quality and sharpen the picture as much as possible, then decide on the size together with you.
• It's best to do this together in the studio, where you see straight away how the picture looks after the corrections.
• A canvas can be up to 140 × 250 cm. You are not tied to standard sizes: choose any size, as long as the picture fits it and the resolution allows the enlargement.
• Finished prints are stretched on a 3 cm deep stretcher frame, which stays hidden behind the canvas.
• Ready in 6–48 h.

What is a canvas print

Canvas is the fabric the picture is printed on. Printed and stretched on a frame, it looks like a gallery picture: there is no glass and no frame, so the image runs right to the edge. That makes canvas a good choice for large sizes and for the wall of a living room or bedroom.

Large canvas wall art

A large empty wall above a sofa or bed needs one picture that fills it. Our canvas prints don't come from a catalogue: we print any size up to 140 × 250 cm, to fit your wall, from your own photo of a trip, a wedding or a family gathering.

Canvas has no glass, so there is no glare, and the 3 cm frame stays hidden behind the picture. For a large print, resolution matters most: we check the shot first, upscale and sharpen it if needed, and decide together how large it still looks good.
