Photo montage is used for invitations, business cards, memorial plaques, mugs, T-shirts, jigsaw puzzles and anywhere several photos need to become one.
Photos often get lost, and younger generations want to see the whole family together in one picture. Doing that so nobody notices isn't easy: the photos people are taken from usually differ in size, lighting, damage and paper (matte or glossy). Besides retouching, they have to be composed so that it looks as if everyone really was photographed together.
