A free document scanner in your browser: point your phone at a page and it finds the edges, straightens and flattens it, removes the shadows and turns your pages into one tidy PDF. No app, and nothing is uploaded.

How to scan a document with your phone

  1. Allow the camera and hold the phone above the page.
  2. A frame locks onto the edges; keep still and it scans by itself, or press the button.
  3. Tap a page to fix its corners, rotate it, change its look or reorder it.
  4. Save one PDF (with searchable text if you like) or images, or share them.

Private: nothing is uploaded

Everything happens on your device. No photo or page is uploaded anywhere, and nothing is kept after you close the page.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a scanner app on iPhone or Android?

No. It works in the phone's browser and is free.

Can it scan books?

Yes. Book mode scans two facing pages at once and flattens the bend.

Can I scan an ID card on one page?

Yes. ID card mode puts the front and back on one page at true size.

Can the PDF be searchable?

Yes. Turn on Searchable text when saving and the text is recognised on your device.

Can I sign documents with it?

Signature mode lifts your signature off the paper as a transparent PNG you can place on a document.
