How it works

How to use it

  1. Choose your files, a whole folder, or drop them on the page.
  2. Check the settings: the defaults are already the best for most photos.
  3. Save each file, all of them as a ZIP, or straight into a folder.

Questions

What is EXIF data?

Information a camera or phone writes into each photo: the device, lens, exposure settings, date and time, and often the exact GPS position where it was taken.

Is it dangerous to share photos with location?

A photo taken at home can reveal your address to anyone who downloads the original file. Many social networks remove it, but email, messaging apps sending “files”, cloud links and forums often keep it. Removing the location before sharing is a good habit.

Does removing EXIF reduce quality?

No. For JPG, PNG and WebP only the metadata blocks are cut out of the file; the picture data stays byte for byte the same.

Can I do hundreds of files at once?

Yes. Drop a whole folder or select as many files as you like. They are processed a few at a time on all your processor cores, with progress for every file. You can pause, stop, retry, and save as a ZIP or straight into a folder.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. FotoJock runs entirely in your browser: the files are read, converted and saved on your own phone or computer. Nothing is sent to a server, and it keeps working offline once the page is open.

Is it really free?

Yes, with no account, no watermark and no limit on the number of files. FotoJock is made by Foto Jocković, a photo shop in Belgrade.
