Packaging - fotojockovic.com/packaging ====================================== Parametric packaging dielines (60 styles) with a folding 3D preview, artwork, mockup images and video. Everything runs in the browser; no file leaves the device. Our own work (MIT, Foto Jocković): the dieline engine written in Rust and compiled to WebAssembly (pack.wasm, sources in src-rs/): every packaging structure is generated from geometry (no third-party templates, vectors or drawings were used or copied); cut/crease extraction, friction-lock nicks, bleed and safe-area offsetting, fold solver and fold validation, SVG / PDF (spot colours, optional content layers) / DXF R12 writers. The 3D folding and the shaping of flexible packs (pillow, cone, cup sleeve, pouches), the artwork compositor, the procedurally drawn demo design, all thumbnails, og.jpg and hero.jpg (rendered by this tool), the UI and texts. Third-party code shipped to the browser: 1. three.js r186 (npm three 0.186.1), incl. OrbitControls and RoomEnvironment from its examples, three.js authors - MIT. https://github.com/mrdoob/three.js Bundled and minified into view3d.js (loaded only when the 3D view opens). Licence: LICENSE-three.txt 2. Fonts: Inter Tight and Instrument Serif via Google Fonts - SIL Open Font License 1.1. https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Inter+Tight https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Instrument+Serif 3. Shared site code: /static/tools/common/i18n.js, rail.js, sheets.js (Foto Jocković). Build-time only (not shipped): esbuild (MIT), binaryen / wasm-opt via npm "binaryen" (Apache-2.0), Rust toolchain (MIT/Apache-2.0), puppeteer-core (Apache-2.0) and sharp (Apache-2.0) for tests and images. Standards: FEFCO code numbers are quoted for reference only (FEFCO/ESBO International Fibreboard Case Code); ECMA groups are indicative. No drawings from either code are reproduced. In round 3 the FEFCO 11th-edition PDF drawings (0216, 0217, 0420, 0422, 0700, 0711, 0712) were only LOOKED AT to check our own constructions (flap shapes, lock geometry); every line of our dielines is computed by our own generators. Reference-only sources consulted during research (never shipped, see /dokumenta/tools/PACKAGING_RESEARCH.md): boxes.py (GPL-3.0, not used in code), templatemaker.nl (terms forbid redistribution, not used). Round 6 (2026-10-17): board surfaces, cut-edge flutes, light probes, table tops and the demo finishes are generated procedurally on the device by our own code (src/surf.js, MIT). No third-party textures, HDRIs or fonts were added. Sheet nesting, the tech sheet and CF2 output are our own code (src-rs/src/nest.rs, tech.rs, MIT). Self-hosted web fonts (2026-10-19): Inter Tight, Instrument Serif. SIL Open Font License 1.1. The woff2 files are the ones Google Fonts serves (latin, latin-ext, cyrillic, greek subsets where the family has them), stored on our own server under /static/tools/common/fonts// with each family's licence text (OFL.txt) next to them; stylesheet /static/tools/common/fonts/ui.css. No font request goes to Google.
