How it works

How to stack images vertically

  1. Choose two or more photos, or drop them on the page.
  2. Pick side by side, stacked or grid, put them in order and set the spacing, background and size.
  3. Press Save: the picture is made at full resolution on your device.

Combine photos side by side or one above the other

Before and after pictures, product comparisons, a row of screenshots or a long vertical strip: the photos line up at the same height or width, in the order you choose.

Make a photo grid with spacing and a background colour

Two to five columns, cells cropped to the same shape or whole photos with a border, any background colour or transparent, saved as JPG, PNG or WebP.

Combine images vertically: Questions

How do I combine two photos into one?

Choose the photos, pick Side by side, Stacked or Grid and press Save. Use the arrows under each thumbnail to change the order. With equal heights (or widths) every photo is scaled so they line up; nothing is stretched.

Will the photos lose quality?

No more than needed: photos are scaled down to match the smallest one, never enlarged, and the result is saved at JPG quality 90, or as PNG or WebP. Choose an output size of 4096, 2048 or 1080 px if you need a smaller file.

Can I make a grid of photos?

Yes: choose Grid and 2 to 5 columns. With “Fill the cells” every photo is cropped to the same shape for a tidy grid; without it each photo fits inside its cell with the background around it. For layouts with cells of different sizes, the Collage mini-app has templates.

How many photos and how big can the result be?

As many as you like. The result is limited to about 100 megapixels on a computer and 36 megapixels on a phone so it can be made in your browser's memory; bigger combinations are scaled to fit.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. FotoJock runs entirely in your browser: the files are read, converted and saved on your own phone or computer. Nothing is sent to a server, and it keeps working offline once the page is open.

Is it really free?

Yes, with no account, no watermark and no limit on the number of files. FotoJock is made by Foto Jocković, a photo shop in Belgrade.
